I have had a lot of people confused on what the wearable area is so i hope this clears things up. The wearable area is the width of the jewelry measured from flare to flare. normally anything under 1" will be 7/16" wearable area, 1"-1 7/8" will normally be 1/2" wearable area anything 2" and over will be 9/16" or 5/8" wearable area.
